Reframing a “stuck” project
“Dr. Geoffrey Binder (Geoff) was our subject matter expert in the domain of practice theory for effective consultation and co-design between Australian Government agencies and community organizations for better design of government policies and programmes. We were one among the four organizations selected by the Australian Government in 2017 as part of their Business Research and Innovative Initiative challenge to deliver a feasibility study and proof-of-concept for a digitally-enabled consultation and co-design solution. Geoff was instrumental in helping us develop the scope and value of our solution. Using his Model of Recursive Cultural Adaptation (MORCA), He helped us establish the basis of identifying strategies to effectively address change in government consultation and co-design practices for policy and programme designs, and translating these into practically implementable workflow models in our software platform solution.
